Stephanie Jonsson graduated from the University of Alberta in 2005 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a major in sculpture. Her practice has grown to include glazes and fabrics, both mediums that she was not formally trained in. She has a studio downtown where she creates in clay as Harcourt House's 2007/2008 resident artist. Stephanie also teaches art at various organizations in Edmonton, including the Art Gallery of Alberta, the Nina Haggerty Centre for the Arts, and Harcourt House Centre. In 2008 she was nominated for the Emerging Artist of the Year in 2008 for the Mayor's Evening of the Arts Awards.
