CHRISTINE JAROCK
Christine was born and raised in Edmonton, where she has lived since 1966. She attended school at St. Gabriel's and graduated from a special education class. Now she lives in a group home with two of her roommates. Her days include such things as watching TV, bowling, working on crossword books, and doing artwork. Her artworks consist, mainly, of groups of abstracted flowers. Christine was one of the artists that was involved in "Through the Eyes of Artists," a collective that focussed on human rights and citizenship in 2004. Christine says, " I like to paint flowers. Sometimes when I'm not very happy I paint flowers, then I feel happy."
